A young man named Dan, after relocating to his first full-time job, kept hearing about this young woman who had gone to Newfoundland for Christmas/New Years to visit family. Upon hearing about this, Dan’s first thought was “Who the ‘*–*-*-*’ d’be crazy enough to go to Newfoundland during the dead of winter???” (especially a wheelchair user) Little did he know it would turn out to be his future wife! After my hair-raising, snow-stormed, nail-biting, wild & wooly adventurous trip back, we met on January 18th, 1982.
Happy 30th anniversary of our meeting, my Daniel!
