Spend Some Time
Visiting Important Websites

If you would like your website listed here, please send a brief description and its URL to: office@written-in-faith.net. A reciprocal link would be appreciate, but not a requirement.

  • Feed Nova Scotia - "Hunger knows no season."
  • Sharing Compassion - In 1952, evangelist Rev. Everett Swanson preached in Korea. Upon learning of the desperate situation of the Korean War orphans, Swanson established a program which made it possible for caring Christians to sponsor needy children for a few dollars a month. Swanson's efforts lead to Compassion, an organization that is child-focused, Christ-centred, and church-based. Today, Compassion still works to release children from poverty, in Jesus' name and help them become fulfilled Christian adults.
  • Crossroads Christian Communications - producers of Christian based television programs and numerous outreach services.  For those of you who are familiar with Crossroads, you know of the invaluable and concrete services that they provide. If you're not familiar with Crossroads, spend some time at their web site, and watch 100 Huntley Street. You will be impressed with the numerous services which they provide. Here are just a few:
    * Christian TV programming, including: 100 Huntley Street, Full Circle, It's Your Call, Truth Quake(TQ) and other programs.
     * 24/7 Prayer Request Lines:
    * Missions Efforts: Crossroads makes great efforts to serve our world, through means that make an actual tangible difference in peoples' lives.
  • The Breast Cancer Site: Simply visit, then click. Doing so will fund a mammogram for someone's mother, sister, aunt, niece, grandmother, granddaughter, cousin, or friend. Early detection is the key to survival of breast cancer. It takes less than a minute to and you may save a life - maybe someone you love.
  • Visionledd is a federally chartered Canadian charity dedicated to helping form strategical alliances among African churches and para-church ministries with the aim to proactively combat the HIV/AIDS epidemic which is currently savagely killing an entire generation of young Africans.

So, what can one person really do?......  Here's what:

  • Make a donation to any of these organizations. Small or bigger - it all helps.
  • Tell others about these organizations.
  • Volunteer at any of these organizations - either regularly, or with special events.
  • Tell others about this website.
  • Think of some creative ways which you can help.
  • Encourage others to do likewise.

These days, many think of "religious matters" as mere rituals - where nothing "real" ever happens, or gets done. These organizations prove otherwise - in very big, and many ways.
