In
Loving Memory of:
John Heuvelmans, Sr.
February 28, 1905 - December 30, 2005.
On December 30,
2005, our dear and beloved father, John Heuvelmans Sr., passed on to
his eternal life with God. While we
will miss him very much, we know that he is now in a much better place.
Dad lived most of his 100+ years very much on his own terms, but during
the past two months he was ill with
Pneumonia and had much
difficulty in breathing.
Dan & I
are both very grateful that we got to see him last February, when we
joined
in the celebrations of his 100 birthday. It was wonderful to see him
again after 13 years, and to surprise him in that way.
Dan is
holding up well under the circumstances, as we knew this day was soon
coming. As for me, I am doing what I can to support Dan and our family.
Amongst the moments of sadness, I feel very blessed to have known this
man for some twenty-three years and I am very proud to have been one of
his daughters-in-law.
I have set
up this memorial page in his honour. If you wish to leave a message of
condolences further down on this page, I will make sure that Dan and
his family gets them all. A memorial page has also been set up at the McKinlay
Funeral Home web site.
We know
that all of your prayers, thoughts, and love are with us and our family.
With much
love,
Gerianne
